The Tyler Area Business Education Council works with local businesses and industry leaders to help identify the region's high-growth, high-demand career paths.
We use this information to help guide school curriculum and support services to ensure students know about these careers and learn the knowledge and skills needed to pursue them.

Chamber of Commerce Career Connections (C4)
Join the Tyler Area Chamber of Commerce and Business Education Council each year as we bring over 75 local business leaders together to discuss career opportunities with East Texas students. The day-long, relaxed discussion format is designed to introduce or continue career exploration for local students.
Mentorship Achievement Program (MAP)
MAP connects students with business leaders throughout Smith County and beyond. These industry leaders provide college and career guidance and support to students as they go through the college application process, financial aid application process, and other vital high school milestones.
