What?
#SchoolisCool occurs each summer before school begins where volunteers distribute backpacks full of essential school supplies to students who need them.
Why?
Students who experience economic hardship and uncertainty suffer in school. Without the right supplies, they are unable to complete work during the day, and they get left behind.
By getting these students the supplies they need, we help set them up for a successful school year.

Smith County K-12 students and their parents
How?
Backpacks are distributed in late summer. Supplies are first-come/first-served, and spots fill up quickly. We average approximately 2,000 backpacks per year.
When?
