MAP brings together local high school seniors and industry professionals to help students navigate the end of their high school career and entry into their next phase of education.
A student’s senior year is full of milestones, from college applications to graduation. Our mentors help them navigate these challenges so they experience a successful transition from high school to college or career.
All students entering their senior year at a Tyler ISD high school are eligible for MAP, but the program focuses on students facing academic or socioeconomic challenges in their senior year.
Mentors meet with their mentee monthly at a designated high school campus. During this time, mentors will assist students with key milestones and help them create a plan to accomplish them.
MAP begins each fall and continues through the academic year.
