Education is a responsibility we all share. We must be diligent, steadfast, and engaged to improve the future for our young people, ourselves, and our community. No single person, program, or organization can guarantee an individual’s success; but, we can work together as a community to give all East Texans every possible opportunity for success.
The Business Education Council brings educators and employers together to discuss future workforce needs and build strong educational and career pathways that prepare East Texas students for a brighter future.

The program forms regional talent pipelines to meet East Texas’ future workforce needs.

The Tyler Area Chamber of Commerce has always had a vested interest in the region’s educational infrastructure and capabilities.
In 2012, the Tyler Chamber and the City of Tyler established the Tyler Area Business Education Council, whose goal is to convene stakeholders to develop new programs that ensure our region is prepared for the future.
